Hello,
I recently had a bad plumbing experience. The plumber damaged the non-replaceable supply lines on my $800 tub filler and then disappeared.

I installed the new tub filler and completed the compression connections, However based on his rough-in, I ended up with a slight bend in the cold supply line. Is this much of a bend acceptable?

I can reduce the bend slightly if I brace the PEX pipe to the sub-floor above. Is this OK? Is there a recommended brace for PEX?

Thanks!

It wouldn't be all that hard to cut the pex back a bit and splice in a section so you could bend it up so it was pointed straight up towards the floor if you can't bend it enough as is to get rid of the kink. There are fittings that don't need special tools to reattach the bits together but a crimping tool isn't all that expensive.
