I'm in the process of remodeling my master bathroom and have a Toto Aquia on order for the toilet. That's not an issue, I'll use that no matter what. The issue is that the rough-in is 12" and I'd like to install wainscoting behind the toilet.
My plan was to put up paneled wainscoting but that would decrease the rough-in to 11 3/4" and 11 1/8" at the baseboard. If that won't work I could install beadboard but I believe that is still 3/8" thick.
What say you? Am I OK to install the wainscoting behind the toilet?
