Everything is trenched for the new bathroom, but when they took the original toilet off they discovered the drain was only 3 inches under the surface, leaving us little to no room for correct pitch. We are trying to carry the line 20 feet, but will end up with the 4 inch pipe 2 inches above ground if we go with 1/8 pitch. We do not want to raise the floor or have a step up into the toilet. Would an ejector pump work for something like this? Any ideas or tricks?

This is awkward, but...
