Sillcock connection question

I need to replace my sillcock. Am I looking at this wrong or did they solder directly onto a threaded piece? It's a Nibco 90 which is threaded. Thanks in advance!

That is what they did. Lot of products give you the choice. Some shower valves are the same way.

They soldered into the end which is how that is designed, either threaded fitting or soldered copper.
