I have purchased a Moen Commercial Posi-Temp 8371HD (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007F9I8CG) along with a matching T8370CBN trim kit (https://www.moen.com/commercial/pro...el-Posi-Temp-reg-all-metal-trim-kits/T8370CBN). I'm not too impressed with the look of the trim kit, and want to pick a different trim, but keep the valve. However, I was surprised to find that Moen doesn't list very many trim kits as compatible with this commercial valve (though there are endless options in the "professional" section of their site). Is it strictly necessary to stick with the compatibility listed in the spec sheets, or will any trim that mentions Posi-Temp fit on this valve?
I chose this valve thinking that the solid brass commercial valve would be more durable as opposed to the professional models which all seem to take plastic cartridges, so I'd like to stick with it, if possible. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!
