Moen 2510 valve

Hi Terry,

I first want to thank you for having this site as I have visited it many times for advice.
My question is: I want to plug the shower port on a Moen 2510 valve that is threaded. Can I use a brass plug with male threads?

A 1/2" brass threaded plug will do nicely there.

Just remember to use either tape or pipe dope on it to make the seal!
