Hey everyone,
Replacing the guts of a toilet for the first time. Things have been going swimmingly until I took the tank off of the base last night. I removed all the bolts and the fill valve no problem, but the threaded side of the flush valve seems completely stuck to the underside of the tank. Upon closer inspection it looks like it was bonded with some kind of clear adhesive. I've already committed to replacing all of the toilet innards with Fluidmasters complete repair kit, so I really cannot back out now.
Any tips on how to get the flush valve off?
Thanks for any tips.
