Cut off my toilet flange. Did I screw up?

I cut the whole thing off horizontally from the basement.

Now what do I do?


I didn't know you can chisel off a toilet flange like this video shows.

How about a picture of what you're working with.
Flanges come three choices:

Hub, over the pipe
Spigot, inside the hub or coupling
Inside pipe. yep, inside the pipe

You can also drill out the pipe from a hub fitting, or split it out using some saw cuts and prying out the rest, same idea as prying off the hub, but inward.

They make these in all of the pipe sizes.

Is there a good 4 inch Spigot fit toilet flange with stainless steel ring?

Then I can put that inside a 3x4 coupler.

They make everything with stainless, and everything with plastic.
It's all available somewhere. My choice is always with a stainless ring.
