I am currently working on supplying water to a total of 7 singlewide mobile homes. 2 of the mobile homes are in place and located across the street from the well.

The 5 future homes will be located above the well as shown in the picture.

I am currently planning on running a 1” pvc line and two wires (to control pump) to the end of the road and then plan on placing qty 4 44gal pressure tanks at the top of the mtn. I plan on running 1 line and using t’s to connect each future home to the main line.

I am also planning on replacing the current pump to ensure that it will be able to pump to the top of the mountain. I am currently unsure how deep the current well is.

What do you think about this set up. Any advice anyone can provide would be much appreciated.

Placing pressure tanks at the top of the mountain will not give you anymore pressure. Actually a water demand downhill from the tank and/or pump is harder to control, as the water doesn't want to stop falling and causes pressure spikes. Just put a pressure tank at the well and plumb from there to the houses. You may need larger than 1" pipe, depending on how far and how much flow you need. And you will probably need to set the pressure switch much higher than the normal 40/60. I just helped a guy set one at 130/150. You can get whatever you need, depending on the elevation to the houses. Can't see the little drawing very well and when I blow it up I can't read it. But you could probably just run like a 2" main close to all the houses, and tee off in 4 directions from there. Also a 44 gallon tank, working at like 60/80 pressure only holds maybe 8 gallons of water. I would use an 86 gallon tank and a CSV to give all the houses constant pressure like a city supply.
