I've been hearing this rattling sound coming from my water system in the house and after a bit of looking around I determined it was coming from the flush valve in one of my Toto Ultramax II toilets. I need to replace it and looked around the forums to find a non-OEM replacement but didn't find anything (maybe I wasn't searching for the right information).

Anyway, Is there a flush valve I can purchase (at one of the big box stores) that would work in the Ultramax II? Thanks for any information!

I'm not aware of a replacement other than the OEM TOTO replacement for the Ultramax II flush valve.
You're saying the flush valve rattles? I haven't experienced that one before.

I have seen bad rubber washers in the wall shutoff that will be noisy. Sometimes opening up the shutoff all the way handles that, and others times I replace it completely.

Yes..it’s the valve rattling. I’m actually using a Korky’s valve.
