I have a Toto Promenade, and a Drake, with the 1.28 GFP system, E-max maybe? It's been about 5 years, and I've noticed they've both started to clog much more often. The eco-drake has an really sluggish flush and sometimes doesn't siphon down even with nothing in the bowl. The promenade I can't see any difference, but it used to never clog. By contrast I have standard reclo that's about 100 years old and never clogs, obviously not a water saver though. any idea what's I can do? 5 years seems like a short life for a toilet.

if your water is hard, what likely is happening is the mineral deposition in the trapway where you can't see. causes rough surface and that build-up impairs flow.
I see this over time but our water is not that hard, so it takes longer to happen in my area.
