I am looking at Toto CST776CEFG vs Toto MS786124CEFG.

My needs are-
12" rough in
L hand lever
chair ht
1.28 GPF
elongated seat

I understand that the MS786124CEFG has a hole for the washlet and needs a specific seat cover to cover the washlet hole if I am not installing a washlet.

Does that mean that with any other toilet seat, the washlet hole will not be covered? So I am bound to using a specific Toto toilet seat cover for the life of the toilet?

With the CST776CEFG, I can use any seat since there is no washlet hole? But then I can never install a washlet on this toilet since it lacks the washlet hole, correct?

1. I think the hole would not be that irritating without a seat covering it.
2. I suspect some bidet attachments would cover the hole, even tho not using it.
3. I am confident there are Toto Washlets that don't need that hole. Washlet is a Toto brand.

ok thanks for the input!

Now I'm looking at Kohler vs Toto and my head is spinning. Are Toto replacement parts hard to find or that much more expensive when they need to be replaced? From the looks of it on this forum, the benefits of Toto far surpasses any other brand?
