Can I vent a toilet into an existing vent stack that is 2 inches in diameter and currently only vents a sink? From the toilet trap to the where the vent starts to rise is less then 2 horizontal feet. The vent rises for 8feet then runs on a min 1/4 inch/per ft slope for 4 feet to a tee where it will tie in to the vent stack. Is this acceptable?? Thank You.

I am in the norhteast.

...I posted this in the remodel forum but my post there was not clear.
