Hello,

I am trying to connect a toilet drain to an existing connection. The challenge is that I have very little vertical distance to work with and still maintain a decent slope.

I'm considering coming off of the toilet with a 3" PVC toilet flange and immediately connect into a 3" PVC elbow street elbow. I can not find anything in the code that prohibits this, but it seems like a fairly harsh connection.

Does this connection sound like it will meet code?

I can ask the inspector on Monday, but I'd really like to get it right the first time.

Thanks,
Stteve
