Hi there,
I am trying to identify the old shower trim, but can not find it online or in local store.
The only label I can see on the valve is 'T-11' or 'T-II'.
Any help are greatly appreciated, here are the pictures:

It could be a Tempress cartridge.

Newport Brass has some trims I believe.

Hi Terry,
Thanks for the reply.
I can not find the valve information on newport brass website. The trim kit in their website all requires their version of universal valve, which I can not tell whether it is a tempress TII or some other types.
For example, this trim kit: newbrass trim kit requires this valve: valve.
The valve parts document is attached as pdf.
So my question is: do I need to buy these parts 5-10 in pdf to make my valve cover looks the same as the showing, or do I need to find the trim kit that is specific to TII valve?

Thanks in advance.

Your valve trim appears to be Rohl. They have discontinued this but the Newport will replace it if you have the correct parts. Go to pages 4-5 in the link and you will need items 2-12 and 15. If you need the cartridge, Disregard # 7 1-027 and order 1-028 instead. The stop block for yours is on the escutcheon and now it needs to be on the cover 1-209-2. Once this is done you can use any Newport current trim for pressure balance application using 1-684.

Hi Marlinman,
Thanks for the reply.
Based on our link, the valve cover is inside the wall surface like this:

But on my 7th picture, you can see that my valve cover stick out of the wall surface for roughly 1 inch.
Would this be a issue? Or the stem (part 6) extension's length is adjustable?

Thanks a lot,
Fan

Items 6 and 10 are "Cut to fit".The rough-in depth of your valve shouldn't be a problem but I will make a comparrison between the plastic and brass covers tomorrow.

One last question: where should I buy those parts? I can hardly find the replacement part online; Only saw some used 1-595 valve sold by some people on ebay...
Should I buy that whole valve? since nowhere to find parts 2-12.

Mark, With the Valve cap extended 1" beyond the finished wall I have not been able to find a trim that would fit. If you can send your photos to Auburn International they may have a trim that will fit. They have probably one of the largest inventories in decorative plumbing in the world.
