Hi guys I'm trying to restore an old tool from a family member. It's a Ridgid BC-410 Chain Vise. I need to remove the chain, but the pin that holds the chain roller in seems stuck. I've been hitting it hard with a hammer and punch. It's not moving any further in the dip area. Any suggestions?

Guess its for the chain? That chain can be flipped over for a new gripping edge. The jaw does most of the work. They also make a smooth jaw for pvc or just use a piece of a leather belt with the other jaw. They are very proud of their parts.
