HelloTo All,

Just pulled my tiny brain apart going into Master Programming Mode on this older fleck7000SE Filter on a 10x40 tank as far as can tell got-it programed?anyway's here in PA. water is tight so we have a cistern vessel and if it goes threw 2 ten minutes backwashes cycles well we run out so…in Regeneration Cycle Steps Pro. I plunged in (1-10) and (2-10) if I wanted to save on more water which (step) #1 or #2 could one change?we also have a addtional filter after 7000se that is doing it's job!!! really looking to save water. Can't understand why display reads (1-10) and (2-10) when cheat sheet say's Rapid Rinse should read(4-10)?Some day soon will upgrade always enjoy what said on this forum. Thank-you.

1 is backwash, 2 is rapid rinse. Set the backwash to 7 minutes, rapid rinse to 3 minutes, you should be just fine.

If you really need to save water, use high salt dosage. 15lbs gets 30k grains.

Go ahead people, shoot away!
