Pipe corrosion

We have corrosion on our hot water pipe under the kitchen sink. We had asked a plumber about this when we moved in about 3 years ago and he said it was ok and didn't need work. It still concerns me. Should I call a plumber to replace? I've attached a picture.

That's normally just flux that didn't get wiped off well.

Thanks for your response. Yes, that's what the plumber told us! It just seems like it might be getting worse.

If you wash it off well and maybe a bit of steel wool to remove things and leave it clean, it's much less likely to continue and will look better in the meantime.
