Moen Posi-Temp tub faucet only hot

I haven't looked at this job yet. Besides the handle being in the wrong position. Why would she only be getting hot water. New install

It should start off with cold and rotate over to hot. If that is not the case, the cartridge needs to be turned 180 degrees.
If that isn't the problem, then it may need a replacement 1222 cartridge. That do make a tool that helps with removal.

Wait..........new install?
Check to see if the handle is on right.

IF she is getting ANY water then there has to be cold water to the faucet.
