Moen L4600 faucet identity needed

Os this a Moen 4600 or maybe 1600 model?
could be 15 years old
it does not want to turn off.
does it need a new cartridge?
hopefully it is something I can do during COVID.

It will one of these two. It's a pretty simple repair. Pulling off the handle with an SAE allen wrench lets you know what is need below so that you can order the parts.
Or pick up a 1225 and a 1255 cartridge to have on hand and return what you don't use.

Have moen sent the wrong part? they sent a 1255

The age of your faucet it would have been the 1225 cartridge.
