Delta R110000 and R10000 question

I'm installing both the R10000 and R11000 rough-ins in my shower. Just trying to figure out the correct stringer depths. The R10000 manual refers you to the R11000 manual when installing both.

The R11000 manual shows distance from stringer to front of diverter bonnet on the R11000 to be 3.25" when in fact it is only 2.75" on the R11000 that I have. Not sure why the difference.

Looks to me that the plasterguard on the R10000 should be flush with the finished wall. Is that correct? That seems to be the case in the R10000 manual but the R11000 manual shows the plasterguard behind the wall.

Secondly, where should the face of the bonnet on the R11000 be in relation to the finished wall? Flush with it?

Looks to me that the pipe from the R10000 to R11000 should be straight so shouldn't the stringers be the same distance back from the front of the wall? Sitting on my desk the ports align perfectly as do the front of the R11000 bonnet and the R10000 plasterguard.

Sure could use some help here. This is really not very clear at all.

The "plasterguards" set flush with the finished wall. That may, or may not, give the depth that a display model shows, but will be within the faucet's "max/min" dimension.

What about the R11000 diverter valve? Does the bonnet sit flush with the finished wall as well?

R11000 diverter.

This one wasn't as open.

Did you buy the trim yet? IF so, temporarily install it and look at where the rough-ins need to be so you like the look of the installed trim. The min/max lines on the plaster guards only tell you that the trim will fit, not how it will look.

hello! Sorry for bumping the old post. My water softener blew up and dumped a ton of resins into the plumbing system. I was able to fix all other fixtures and already flushed the hot water heater tank, but I have the same exact Delta rough in's R10000 and R11000 diverter valve. I already flushed the R10000 and pressure seems to be good there, but when I took the diverter out, the water trickles out of the R11000 diverter valve. Is water supposed to come out of there with high pressure (top valve, in the 2nd picture)? Or am I missing something here? The 2 plumbers I called for service from ThumbTack wanted to charge me $2000 for flushing the water heater tank + the kitchen faucet + 2 vanity fixtures in the masters, but I DIY them all so far. I'm hoping to troubleshoot the showers as well, the pressure is very low right now.
