Here is a budget bidet made from parts found on hand. I guess it's one way to do this, though there are manufacturers that have something similar that looks and work a lot nicer.

Budget Bidet

Kohler makes a budget cold water only bidet seat that doesn't need electricity either. These fit on the elongated bowls.

Dang I had a guy like 30 years ago hand me one of those old school kitchen sprayers to hook up they were black generic on the cheapie faucets we all installed a while ago. I seen a few bootleg bidets Mostly immigrants different culture used to do that we didn't have available stuff like now

My dad made one from a chemical sprayer wand 15 or 20 years ago! I thought I took a photo of it, but apparently I can't find it. Their main bathroom has a nice Toto installed, but my dad still likes his home made bidet.

Back in the day I used to work at home depot. The plumbers were always telling middle eastern immigrants how to rig them up. The old plumbers thought it was hilarious. In retrospect, the customers probably thought we were gross people walking around with dirty bums.
