American Standard Toilet Tanks

I have an American Standard Champion 4 two piece toilet that I would like to replace the tank on. What American Standard model name toilet tanks are interchangeable with an American Standard Champion 4 bowl, or is only the Champion 4 tank compatible with the Champion 4 bowl? Thank you.

The tank has developed a long hairline vertical crack. Would you kindly explain why only a Champion 4 tank will work on a Champion 4 bowl? The Cadet 3 tank is less expensive and looks similar to the Champion 4 tank.

The Champion® 4 Flushing System has the largest siphonic trapway (2-3/8" diameter) and the largest flush valve (4" diameter) is virtually clog-free, so you'll never have to plunge again.​

It would seem to me that a 4 inch flush valve would need a bigger hole at the bottom of the tank.
