So what started as simply replacing a shower in a basement bathroom has turned into a full bathroom remodel after we tore the shower out and discovered the drain underneath was no good. So we are going to be jack hammering up the drain and redoing the entire bathroom which it needed anyways.

We are looking for a 6 foot soaker tub that you can fit two people in comfortably. It will be an alcove installation and need a tiling flange as we plan to tile and put a shower in as well. Can you give some recommendations. We have looked at so many tubs online lately we are just lost, and the big box stores (Menards/Home Depot) don't carry the big tubs in stock to look at. We are not looking for whirlpool or airjets or anything just a big soaker tub that 2 average size people can soak in.

Thank You

So looking at the Kohler K-1132-F-0 I see complaints online that the tiling flange on this is not really integrated into the mold of the tub but rather is a piece that is pop riveted on. can someone confirm if this is the case? Also what about the windward with the righthand drain? K-1115-RA-0. Does this use the same addon type of flange or is it integrated into the mold?
