Hello to all. Thanks for your time and help. I am trying learn so I can do things right.
Working to the IPC.

I saw this sketch showing a washing machine rough in.
It is my understanding that the washer can't be wet vented.
Can the sani-tee's be reversed or will the washer then drain the sink trap?

In Terry's picture of roughing two sinks:
Could the drain for the right sink be used for a washer standpipe as long as:
The drain in the floor is 2".
The washer standpipe, trap and inlet on lower wye is 2".
All vents and left drain for sink is 1-1/2".
1-1/2" out of top of right sani-tee and out of top of lower wye.

I wanted to mark the sizes on the picture but am not there yet.

Thanks,
Jim

The green drawing works if properly sized. The washer needs 2" with a 2" trap and standpipe.
A laundry sink is 2" with a 1.5" trap
A kitchen sink is 2" with a 1.5" trap
A bathroom lav can be 1.5" and either a 1.5" trap or 1.25"
