I'm looking to add a washing machine to a top floor bathroom.
I opened up the wall to see the plumbing and this is what I found:

A 2" vent stack, venting the bathrooms below, ties into the soil stack up in the attic.
No connections to the vent stack at this level.

Next to that the 4" soil stack.
Soil stack connections from the top:
In the attic a 4x4x2 san tee to the top of the vent stack
this floor, a 4x4x2 san tee bushed to 1-1/2 for the lavatory
a 4x4x2 san tee for the tub
a 4x4x3 san tee for the toilet

I was scratching my head at the lack of vents for the lav & tub until I realized the soil stack is a dry vent above the lav tee, and a wet vent from the lav tee down to the toilet tee.
Is that correct?
And is it code compliant? (UPC)

I was thinking of inserting a 4x4x2 san tee below the lavatory tee for the washer standpipe
But that makes the tub & toilet wet vented by the lavatory & washer drain.
I have a strong suspicion that it would work just fine with a 4" vertical wet vent.

But it's not code is it? Having a washer standpipe drain wet vent the tub?

Do I need to vent the tub and/or toilet to meet code?

The vent stack is just to the left (6") of the soil stack and the tub drain just to the left of that, so the tub has a very short trap arm to the soil stack.
I don't think I have room to vent the tub unless I do something weird like run the drain away from the soil stack a ways, turn it around, and have a vent take off before it gets back to the soil stack.
But that really complicates a straight shot drain, which seems to me to be more likely to cause problems than wet venting it would.

Advice appreciated.

Thanks!

Bump.
Sorry, this got buried after spending a few days pending approval, so I'm bumping it in the hope of getting some fresh looks.
Thanks!
