Im adding a full bathroom in a workshop addition to help keep the grime where it belongs. I am no plumber but I will be doing the work myself. I would like to think I understand the basic functions of plumbing systems but my hubris has been known to out pace my knowledge base. o_O

This is what I had in mind for venting a shower and toilet in the current bathroom configuration. I am still in the planning stages so I have no issues changing anything at this point.

Wye off for the shower downstream of the toilet, run it in 2" for shower drain, trap and for the vent. That vent on the shower is what vents the toilet. One vent will do it.

Hey, wait a minute.
