You measured the capacitance of the start cap to be over 100 mFd?

Does "Overloads, left .1 right .2" indicate that you only show less than 0.3 amps passing through each overload device?

It was last week when I measured the start cap, I don't recall the exact reading but it matched the cap markings. something like 126 mFd.

The overload was a ohms reading, passing thru each side of the overload. Two overloads on this box. I watched youtube from W.C. Worst on my model Franklin control box testing. Followed it and his threshold was less than .5 ohms. Is this the correct way to test them?

Age of pump, first 9 years no CSV. Try a new control box. If still trips gonna need new motor. CSV probably got you several extra years. 7 years is average life of submersibles.

Thanks Valveman, the first 9 years had almost no use on the pump. Maybe a weekend or two per month. When usage increased I added the CSV. I had the same thinking on the control box and ordered one last night. With the age would you just replace the motor or pump and motor?
