hello,

making this short and simple not gonna babble all of you to death lol. removing old toilet flange, got everything out fine until piece of Hub broke up at elbow. now i’m not too concerned as i spoke with a friend who’s a plumber and he said it would be fine being that my new flange would glue inside the elbow and things will work fine BUT... i don’t necessarily feel comfortable with that answer. wanted to double check before doing anything else. will attach pictures below. Thank you IN ADVANCED !!

If it's what I think it is, you've got some concrete to crack up!

It appears what's left there is a broken toilet flange that immediately goes into a bend with a spigot end. You cannot glue a flange or fitting into that curve. If it were a straight piece of pipe, you still might have an issue, as most flanges don't have a long enough tail to also allow a coupler, that you'd probably need to get it to the needed height.
