Toilet flange/Broken 90 Hub

hello,

making this short and simple not gonna babble all of you to death lol. removing old toilet flange, got everything out fine until piece of Hub broke up at elbow. now i’m not too concerned as i spoke with a friend who’s a plumber and he said it would be fine being that my new flange would glue inside the elbow and things will work fine BUT... i don’t necessarily feel comfortable with that answer. wanted to double check before doing anything else. will attach pictures below. Thank you IN ADVANCED !!

Most toilets now use a 2-1/8" trap with a 2.5" trap seal. That looks like a 3" pipe so you'll be OK.
