The best effluent pumps??

Looking at Zoeller, the 57 models for pumping from a septic settling tank.

I found the all cast unit with float installed for 183$ delivered. Thats not much more than the big box stores junque, so I am a little sceptical. I had a myers [I think] and a Dayton in the past that worked well.

Looks too good to be true for American iron... any comments appreciated.

get one with a separate switch

as long as you buy a pump with a
switch that is not intergrated into the motor,

you will be fine.....


the Zoeller pumps with one wire to control
the motor and switch are notorious for going bad in only a few years
and it is hell to break down that pump and change out that
switch...


get something that you can repair by simply clamping
on another switch and you will be a happy camper down the road someday
