I have a 1 hp Myers Rustler pump set at 40' in a 45' well. Static water is at 19'. 1 inch 60 lb plastic Cycle Stop Valve in the drop pipe. 1 inch poly pipe to the house. Ridged copper throughout the house.
Every time the pump runs, there is a fairly pronounced humming sound that gets transmitted through the pipes in the house. I have changed the metal straps holding the copper to plastic hangers. This helped a little, but not much.
Is there anything I can plumb either before or after the bladder tank that would help cut back this noise?
