Stem adapter problems

Hi Terry,

I have a new Kohler Shower valve with a 20 pt broach but I want to put a crane shower handle on it which is a 12 point. I purchased what was claimed to be a 20 to 12 adapter, but in reality it was a 20 to 19 - something I read is for adapting to some US Kohler handles to EU Kohler handles. Are you aware of a real adapter that will adapt the 20 pt Kohler broach to the 12 point Crane? They are already close in size as it is.

The Kohler 20 pt European broach I assume but Crane has had 5 different 12 pt splines. What stem does it fit?

Good question. I really don't know other than it was meant to go on a Crane dial-ese shower stem, not the lavatory dial-ese stem, which is the smaller 12 pt. That's all I really know. Here is a link to the Crane handle I have:
