Does anyone with Sta-Rite experience know the difference between these two series of pumps beyond the description, casing design, and price?
From Pentair:
"The ProJet SN Series provides excellent performance with strong pressure for wells to 25 ft. deep."
"The FN Series Provides strong performance with good pressure for wells to 25 ft. deep."
The SN series are @ $30-50 more expensive than the FN series for a given hp (exact price is vendor dependent, but SN are always more expensive)
The motor for SN/FN share the same part number as do the pump internal parts.
The FN has the foot cast into the housing, the SN is stamped steel secured with the two lower motor/pump mounting bolts.
What exactly justifies the price jump between the two?
