I'm trying to increase the amount of hot water I get to one of my showers by moving the limiter (I have the kind shown in the picture). However, when I adjust the limiter so that the handle is allowed to turn more counter-clockwise, when turning past a certain point, the water shuts off. If I continue turning counter-clockwise, the water eventually comes back on but from the cold side. Also, after adjusting the limiter to allow the handle to move more towards hot water, when turning the handle back towards cold/off, the limiter now stops the rotation from moving far enough to actually turn the water completely off. What am I missing here?
