Hello!

I’m renovating my second floor bathroom. I want to reconnect to an existing threaded, 2-inch copper pipe that served the old shower floor drain. As you can see from the picture, the pipe extends about one inch above the 1/2 hardibacker subfloor.

The plan is to build up a mortar bed and tile the new shower floor. What kind of adapter and/or floor drain could I use to connect to this existing pipe?

Thank you!
