I'm in need of a suitable pull-down or pull-up diverter spout. Unfortunately i just ordered a Danco pull-down-diverter tub-spout, but only afterward saw reviews stating the O-ring degrades very quick. I might have lived with that, by buying a pack of #11 O-rings (though i wished they'd be silicone rather than rubber).
But then i realized the Danco spout isn't slip-fit, but rather screw on as per:
What i did like about it was that it's a 5.5" spout reach (i've been seeking 5.25" to 5.5" reach). I had been boringly plowing thru all sorts of options ranging from Moen to Kohler to Delta, but can't seem to find any spout suiting what i need.
Where the heck do i find a tub-spout with 5.25"-5.5" spout reach, that's slip-fit+metal construction?
