Fifteen years ago, were all Delta pull-down diverter spouts metal like the discontinued RP17454 model? Or were some plastic even back then?
Here is the discontinued Delta model:

The reason i ask, is because my BIL's house is due to be gutted approx this month, and he's offering me his pull-down Delta diverter-spout that's now on his tub. He said he never had problems with it all these years, so i figure it must be good quality. I doubt he knows the model number of his spout. All he said is that it was installed approx. 2009.

Is it worth uninstalling his pull-down Delta for use on my tub (rather than installing the Pull-Up AmericanStandard diverter-spout which I just ordered)?
This is the AmStandard one: https://www.faucetdirect.com/americ...tub-spout-slip-on-5-8-o-d-cop/p239066#q-and-a

Hello moved to home with about 50 too 70 foot jet pump well set at 40 /60 water passes government water test everytime, the main problem is galvanized bladderless tank 32 gallon well water has pin gas when coming out of faucet's it airy bubbles but clears up clear and drinkable looks good have a rainfresh filter after exit of tank, tank has a shradder valve to pump out all water when water logged im finding it logging after a month , big question can I replace the pressure tank with a bladder and would pin has give me problems having constant pressure to faucets less water down, or is there a better way to fix this water logging problem so I do have a water softener inside of home that also helps with iron all sinks tubs toilet little trace of iron but would work on that after.
Thanks need answers as no one able to answer bladderless or bladder which ?

1. "Pin"???
2. A galvanized tank is usually installed with a means to add air. It also has an above ground check valve. To switch to a diaphragm tank you would usually want to eliminate that source of air, and eliminate the check valve.

You do realize he was replying to @Brooklyn1954 who is either a bot or a moron trying to hijack your post.

Of course i realized it was a hijack, thus stated "sarcastically speaking"... I only happened to hop back here cuz though i'd unsubscribed this post, a similar Q yielded my past post in dropdown.

Though i knew bots are on reddit, i didn't know they're crawling everywhere for crying out loud.
