This handle fell off and it doesn’t seem possible to attach it. I think something must be missing. Does anyone know what? The brass ring is removable. There is no hole for a set screw anywhere.

Should I post this in plumbing? Thanks!!

The brass part in your hand is what sets the limit as to how far to the hot side it rotates.
The screw at the end of the handle should reach to the cartridge to secure it. I don't recognize the valve, but perhaps someone else will here.

The brass screw that is going through the handle should secure it to the cartridge as Terry said but it does not appear to be long enough. Can you look at the end of the screw and also into the center of the cartridge and tell if the screw has actually broken?

I do not know that brand either.

The shower valve is Rohl Arcana. The handle adapter has broken. Rohl # 2303-0347. It locks in place where the escutcheon does.
