Replacing Hose Bib

Need to replace this old hose bib. Should the whole thing unscrew from the pipe?

What decade was the home built in? From the 60's on many of those are frost free hose bibs that are six inches long or longer. I like to work from the inside on those, as twisting a faucet from the outside that is connected to copper or PEX can do a lot of damage inside the wall.
