Oil seperater help

I understand the in and out. There is also a tail piece where u set your level of separation I kinda get... but there's 2 two inch additional connections up higher. This will just be used for a bus wash down station...tying into a storm drain. What r the 2 additional connections

Without make/model - just guessing. But I'd say "venting".
