Moen ExactTemp Shower handle removal? No set screw!

Hi, I have a Moen shower handle with a button in the middle to push when you want to move the handle to the hotter settings. How do I remove the trim?? There isn’t a visible set screw. I removed the button and the internal screw but the handle will not come off! Any help is appreciated. See pics

You probably just need to go buy a faucet handle puller. You'll use it more than once.

Mineral buildup where the handle attaches to the stem can almost weld it in place. A handle puller is probably your best bet, but a call to the manufacturer might suggest another alternative.

Have you tried to rotate the trim counterclockwise?

Yep got it. The trim screws out counterclockwise. Thanks!
