First, I recently found this forum and really appreciate reading all the great advice - thanks! Here's my question - I'm replacing a tub in an existing bathroom. The new tub's dimensions will create an almost-90 degree bend at the trap connection to the current drain line. There isn't much of the drain line accessible, but if necessary, I could cut and reroute what's there to reduce the discharge angle slightly. I'd certainly appreciate any advice.

Since a p-trap can be rotated any number of ways to make the connection I don't see that this would pose a problem so long as their is a vent after the trap.
