Hey, gang - looking for some advice/insight on what the root cause of my well pressure issues are. Bought a home with a well back in February (2024). Previous family moved out in May of 2023. I noticed a small leak in the T joint that went into my well tank, which itself looked pretty old, so I replaced the tank, switch, pressure gage, and related piping specific to those components. A few weeks later we lost pressure for the 1st time. I had a well contactor come out and look at everything. They ran some tests and made some adjustments to the switch. Restarted the pump and every was fine. 2 weeks go buy, lost pressure again. I had the same contractor come out. They ran some more tests and thought it might be the pump. Pump was 27 years old down 300 feet. Replaced it, and everything was fine. Another 2 weeks go by. Again, losing pressure. Had the same contractor out. This time they put on the old pressure switch. It didn't have the start/stop/auto lever and they thought this was the issue. Everything was fine for, you guessed it, 2 weeks. This time, I got myself a new switch and ensured all pressure in the tank was consistent with the switch settings (30/50). Had the contractor out to take a look. Guy noticed that we had a disconnected water softener tabk and a smaller container with potassium permanganate. He suggested we super chlorinate the well. Did that yesterday and today, I lost pressure again after flushing the system. I was advised to run my hose for 15 minutes followed by waiting 15 minutes. Did this for about 6 cycles before pressure dropped to 0. I really have no idea what is wrong and I'm concerned that the contractor doesn't either. Has anyone encountered something like this before? Any help would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

Sorry but it tripping the overload in the motor. It has cycled as many times as it had in it. If you have a control box, put in a new start cap a relay. But even that works it will be temporary as the pump/motor only has so many cycles built in.
