Hello all -

Novice here so I hope I explain this well. I have a softener system with a Fleck 2510 filter valve and a masters softener valve (so I'm told). Please see photos. The pvc pipe that discharges to the exterior (I'm guessing it's the brine discharge?) has a constant moderate water drip/trickle. It's the vertical black PVC pipe in the photo, discharges to the exterior. The system recently recharged/cleaned and the drippy flow to the exterior continues. Funny, but I don't hear my well pump cycling. Might this be a bad valve or o-ring? Something to do with the brine float?

Any help appreciated!

No expert other than I have a water softner (and Iron reducer-Air based and an AC which also has an outside line) and all work much the same as far as the evacuation drains. Anyway - if you have a constant drip and you are running air conditioning, It would explain the drip if the AC condensate is coming out the same hole.

Your picture shows an Autotrol/Performa valve, not a Fleck 2510. https://www.ebay.com/itm/163963859133

That would use flappers rather than a piston and seals. There are rebuild kits that are mainly new flappers. On some of the autotrol units, you might be able to turn some flappers around. Maybe you can identify the problem flapper. It has been a long time since I did anything with an Autotrol. The flappers are actuated by a big plastic camshaft.

One thing... facing the display, the input is on the left and output on the right. That is opposite of Fleck and Clack.
