I am looking to move the current laundry setup to the adjacent room on same wall and add a laundry sink (sink would end up on left and washer on the right). I would plumb the washer setup as is now and add a sink as proposed. Would this addition be up to code and are there specific fittings I would need to use? Thank you.

Assuming your inspector is okay with 2" that would work.

The washer standpipe should be 2" while you are at it.
Some codes want to see 3" where the trap and arm meet the stack. On the West Coast they are fine with 2".
I like that you have both vented and then revented in your drawing.

Thanks Terry. Are you referring to the one shown (1) or proposed (2)? The work shown is in our new house (1 year old). Also, the current standpipe
and vent pipe above the cleanout are 2". The pipe below the cleanout is 3".

Strange to see a non-GFCI receptacle in laundry area. You probably can't get away with it anymore, especially since you are installing a sink.

Thank you very much Terry.

Does anyone know if a permit would be required to just flip that outlet 180 degrees to the other wall?

Thank you very much Terry.

Better ask local elec contractors, or a city building inspector.
In my city, no permit is needed to flip the outlet 180 degrees when all wrings stay the same.
