I have a moen 1225 tub and shower cartridge with a push button shower diverter. I can't seem to find proper trim kit to use. This is for pull out to turn on water. Any help is appreciated.

If you search for that cartridge on Amazon, you'll see a More Items To Explore section. This usually contains related items or items are are often bought together.

You'll see mention of a Moen Chateau, along with some other off-brand trim kits of different finishes. Not sure if this is what you're looking for. Otherwise, you can also look through the customer reviews of the cartridge for pictures or keywords that might help.

You need to convert by plugging your push button diverter hole and buying an old style to new style trim adapter. The Adapter plate uses the two screw holes that are side by side under the cartridge housing and then provides two new screw locations for the moentrol trim kits. The diverter plug eliminates the push button diverter and allow you to use a diverter tub spout instead.
Diverter plug #10100
trim adapt plate #145058

Then go to Moen's website and pick a new "moentrol" trim kit to order. There are only a few trims left because moen discontinued them last year. ***POSI TEMP will NOT WORK.***
Good luck.
