Hello, I roughed in a new tub and when i went to test the drain (fill tub, then drain tub) i got a good bit of gurgling. Not sure how to fix, the tub is a 1.5 in brass assembly into a 2 in trap. the drain is about 14 inches from the vent. I snaked the drain, and even opened the vent above the tub to ensure there is no blockage. The pipes seem fine slope-wise, besides how short the run is. Its 14 inches to a straight vertical drop. vent ties into main in attic.
At the moment i have no working theory of what the problem could be except maybe im crazy and tubs gurgle when drained from being full? What am I missing here?
