I have a new construction build and the truss engineer missed a tub box to floor truss conflict. I can install the tub drain but it has to be rotated to miss the top cord so I cannot tie it directly into the tee for the overflow. Is there any code reason I cannot rotate the drain body and pipe around the top cord and tie into the overflow farther below the tub than normal? Has anyone ever seen a tub drain body that goes straight down - this would also work?
Thanks for any advice.
