I purchased a Pentair Fleck 4650 system and had my local handyman/plumber do the installation, but he's not sure how to do the set up. I've looked online, watched videos of the 5600 SXT (can't find anything for the 4650), and read the manual for the 4650 and I don't understand the set up process. I was hoping it would be easier, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions? Or anyone that can explain how, in simple terms, how I can set this thing up?

It is not like the 5600SXT, which uses an electronic controller. It looks similar to the 5600 12 day. I would see if you can find info on that, and compare to what you have.

The 4650 is almost used exclusively for hot water applications. It is rarely used for cold water applications as it is a primarily a timeclock system and is an excellent hot water valve used in commercial applications. It is simple, reliable, and bullet proof compared to other hot water valves. I am not sure why anyone would sell it for residential applications.
